Dev started in corporate banking and, over a 22-year career with US and UK global commercial banks, held various roles including up to the C-suite of executive-level management. He has had oversight of loan portfolios of up to $30 billion during and in the aftermath of the Asian financial crisis and the GFC, hence has a strong understanding of loan underwriting processes. His special expertise is in structuring trade finance and business acquisition loans.

A Fellow Chartered Accountant with MBA and B.Com degrees, Dev is a licensed commercial loans broker and financial planner in Australia and has worked in several countries across Asia and the Middle East.

He is a European cinema buff and spends his weekends gardening, working on his golf handicap and visiting wineries around Adelaide. He is involved with various charities and invests time in mentoring university students to remain on the ‘straight and narrow’.
